Sie promovierte in Sozialwissenschaften an der Queen\u2019s University in Kanada und ist Autorin von 15 B\u00fcchern. Zu ihren neuesten Werken geh\u00f6ren: Genocide Culture: Cultural Habits, Ethnic Engineering and Religious Doxa (2024, Routledge), The Palgrave Handbook of Kurdish Genocide (2025, Palgrave Macmillan) sowie Poor Dad, Rich Daughter: Overcoming Gender Regimes and Rising as Entrepreneurs in Post-ISIS Kurdistan (2025, Lived Places Publishing_LPP).<br \/>\nDr. Salih wurde f\u00fcr ihre Arbeit mit mehreren internationalen Preisen ausgezeichnet und war in internationalen Organisationen t\u00e4tig, darunter die United Nations Association in Canada und Amnesty International. Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte umfassen Genozidforschung, sozial-politische Anthropologie, Gender- und Frauenstudien, Bourdieus soziologische Theorien, Gewaltstudien, Migration und erzwungene Vertreibung, Kurdische Studien, Nahostpolitik, Minderheitenfragen, ethnische Konflikte sowie indigene Regierungsf\u00fchrung und Souver\u00e4nit\u00e4t.<br \/>\nDas Seminar wird von <strong>Nasir Muradi<\/strong>, Chefredakteur des TISHK Zentrums f\u00fcr Studien \u00fcber Kurdistan, moderiert und geleitet. Das Seminar findet am <strong>Sonntag, den 30. M\u00e4rz 2025, um 18:00 Uhr<\/strong> (Berliner Zeit) statt und wird in Kurdisch abgehalten.
