Ascended Narratives from the Ground of Revolution (collection of articles and interviews) is a rare and insightful collection of interviews conducted in the 1980s by Irish writer and Middle East expert Fred Halliday. Featuring key political figures such as Dr. Abdulrahman Ghassemlou, Shaikh Ezzadin Husseini, Abolhassan Banisadr, and Masoud Rajavi, the book offers a deep look into the revolutionary transformations in Iran and Kurdistan. Originally translated into Persian in 2019 by Leila Faghfouri Azar and Shahin Nasiri. The Kurdish edition, published by the TISHK Center for Kurdistan Studies and translated by Omar Balaki, includes an additional article on Paknejad and the experience of the National Democratic Front.
